Who does School Choice?
These families can include, but might not be limited to, those who:
- live outside the Sheldon region,
- live outside 4J school district, and
- want to join International High School at Churchill (exception for Spanish Immersion students)

Summer Bridge 2026
Summer Bridge 2026: August 10–14!
- 3 hours per day
- by invitation only
If you feel your student’s high school success would be increased by participation in Summer Bridge, please reach out to your Middle School Counselor.
A Program Designed for Incoming Grade 9 Students
- Find your way around your school and know where your classrooms are.
- Discover important school resources and how to access them.
- Connect with old friends and make new ones.
- Learn the key ingredients of high school success from awesome Summer Bridge teachers
- Hear about high school from the experts! Junior and senior students will be at Summer Bridge with answers to your questions. They are ready to share lots of stories and advice about surviving and thriving in high school. By knowing what to expect, you'll have a head start in high school!
- Earn 0.25 credits!

Welcome to Churchill High School. We are thrilled to have you join the Lancer Family this fall. Below are the key dates and events to help you navigate your transition into high school.
🗓️ Rising 9th Grade Night
Wednesday, April 15, 2026
This is the kickoff event for incoming families! Come tour the campus and get a head start on planning your high school experience.

Kickoff Presentation: 30-minute overview of high school life.

Breakout Sessions: Choose two sessions to dive deeper into class options, athletics, and extracurriculars.

Campus Tours: Available throughout the evening.
☀️ Summer Bridge Program
August 10 – August 14, 2026

Format: 3 hours per day for one week.

Capacity: Tentatively limited to 60 students.

Details: This program is by invitation and focuses on building skills and confidence before the first day of school. Keep an eye on your email for registration details.
