Churchill Class of 2025 and Families,

Tomorrow, Friday, June 6, is the last day of school for seniors and the Senior Assembly! We hope you are as excited as we are to celebrate you!

Here are some last-day reminders:
  • Return your school computers and their chargers.
  • Use Google Takeout (takeout.google.com) to save any important schoolwork from your 4J account to a personal account before your school accounts are closed.
  • Return all library books.
  • Clean out your lockers.

Graduation is on Saturday. The graduation rehearsal is mandatory for all graduates. If you can't make it to the rehearsal, you must make arrangements with Jill in the front office (reents_ji@4j.lane.edu). Otherwise, if you don't show up, we will assume that you do not want to participate in the ceremony.

We have extra tickets left for the graduation ceremony. At the end of the graduation rehearsal, unlimited extra tickets will be available for graduates to pick up. Any remaining tickets will be handed out in the Hult Center lobby before the ceremony.

Requests for ADA seating accommodations can be made with the Hult Center directly. Please make your requests as soon as possible. Look for details in the newsletter below.

The Grad Party planners would like to remind you to register for the Grad Party, which is on Sunday, June 8. Quite a few people have paid for their ticket, but have not filled out the registration form. Forms are available at the front office, or download the form HERE.

This weekend is going to be full of joy and bittersweet moments. Families, thank you for entrusting your young adults to us. Graduates, thank you for your perseverance, respect, integrity, determination, and commitment to excellence. The Churchill Class of 2025 is going to do great things. We are so proud of you.

Graduation Ceremony: Accessibility & Accommodations

The Hult Center is committed to ensuring all guests can comfortably and safely enjoy the graduation ceremony. If anyone in your party requires seating or access accommodations (e.g., accessible seating, extra legroom, or noise-canceling headphones), please complete the Guest Accommodation Request Form as soon as possible.

You can make ADA seating accommodation requests through Jill in the front office or by contacting Hult Center staff directly. Please be ready to provide the section your tickets are in.


The Hult Center will do their best to seat parties together, though some alternate seating may only allow one companion.

Interpreters at Graduation: Spanish and ASL

Spanish and ASL interpretation will be available at the graduation ceremony. To ensure we have enough headsets for our Spanish-speaking guests and reserved seating for those needing ASL interpretation, please email Jill at reents_ji@4j.lane.edu with the number of guests requiring an interpreter.

⚠️ Before You Graduate: Save Your School Data 💾

With only two weeks left before you graduate, now is the time to save your school data before you lose access to your 4J accounts.

When you finish your graduation requirements, your 4J accounts will be closed. This means you will lose access to StudentVUE, Canvas, your school Gmail, Google Drive, and other 4J accounts. 

Google Files, Emails, and Contacts — DO THIS ASAP:
Make sure to save any files or data you want to keep from your school accounts to a personal device, an external drive, or your personal Google Drive. Use Google Takeout to download your 4J Google data at takeout.google.com. 
It may take a few days for Google to process your request. Be sure to do this before your school account is turned off, which might be immediately at the end of your last day of classes.

Naviance and other 3rd-Party accounts:
If you use your school email for your Naviance account, change it to a personal email address so you can still access it. Do the same for any other accounts that use your school email to log in.

📜 Transcript Requests 📧

Seniors – Many of you will need to request final transcripts. Request your transcript now using this form:  https://forms.gle/NyGjkSzcNZYrfM3b9
 
Please note that you need to use your 4J email to complete the form. Transcripts will be ready starting June 23. Contact your Counselor with any questions.

Emailed transcript requests after graduation will cause significant delays in your college admission process. Make sure to submit your request today!
Information on how graduating seniors and families can opt-in to view and purchase their commencement photos taken by Lifetouch. Includes a QR code and a text-in option.

Graduation Photos by Lifetouch! 🎓📸

Photographers from Lifetouch will be at the graduation ceremony to capture your special moments.

Before the ceremony, Lifetouch will take a group photo of the entire graduating class in their caps and gowns. During the event, they will also be taking photos of each graduate receiving their diploma cover, an individual portrait with their diploma cover, candid shots of gathered families, and pictures of the ceremony itself.

Grad Party 2025

Grad Party on Sunday, June 8

It's not too late to register for the Grad Party.

Get ready to celebrate at the Graduation Party on June 8th from 10 PM - 2 AM at the U of O Rec Center! Come out and try your hand at the casino tables and horse races, take a dip in the pool and hot tub, challenge your friends to a game of laser tag, or just come and hang out with everyone!

Also, don’t forget to submit your photographs for the slideshow that will be playing throughout the party! Send your pictures to the same email on the registration form. Baby pictures, senior pictures, group pictures, whatever you would like to post as a memory.

Let’s make this a night to remember! See you there!
