National School Library Month

• April is National School Library Month! Come celebrate in the CHS library with new maker stations and a contest. Play library bingo and get entered for a chance to win a gift card. Talk to Debbie or Jennifer in the library for more details. And don’t forget to renew your library books and return your old textbooks.

Prom Tickets

• Prom is around the corner and tickets go on sale today during lunch at the planters. Tickets will be sold for $30 each or two for $50 through April 14th. After the 14th, prices will increase, so get your tickets early!

Prom Guest Forms

• Bringing a guest or an underclassman to prom? You will need a guest form for that. Guest forms are available at the front office and need to be turned in by April 17th at 4 pm.

Next Step Electronics Recycling Competition

• Drop off your old electronics in the STEM hallway until Friday to help CHS compete in an electronic recycling competition. This includes old laptops, phones, chargers, etc.

Trans Day of Visibility

• Churchill’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance is celebrating Trans Visibility Day tomorrow! Come to school wearing the colors of the Trans flag: pink, blue, and white to show your support. Make sure to stop by the planters at lunch to get your face painted and grab a bracelet and pronoun pin while you’re at it!

CHS Intramural Volleyball

• Churchill’s very own March Madness… In April! We will be hosting a free intramural volleyball tournament during lunch on April 10–14. Team sign-ups are happening this week during lunch at the planters. Prizes for the winning team!

Summer Driver’s Ed

• Registration is open for the Oregon Driver Training Institute summer session at Churchill. Classes are May 16–June 20, 4:00–7:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Scholarships are available based on need. Come to the front office to get a flyer with complete details.

Mes Nacional de la Biblioteca Escolar

• ¡Abril es el Mes Nacional de la Biblioteca Escolar! Venga a celebrar en la biblioteca de CHS con nuevas estaciones de creación y un concurso. Juegue al bingo de la biblioteca y participe para tener la oportunidad de ganar una tarjeta de regalo. Habla con Debbie o Jennifer en la biblioteca para obtener más detalles. Y no olvides renovar los libros de tu biblioteca y devolver tus libros de texto antiguos.

Boletos de Prom

• Prom está a la vuelta de la esquina y los boletos salen a la venta hoy durante el almuerzo en los maceteros. Los boletos se venderán por $30 cada uno o dos por $50 hasta el 14 de abril. Después del 14, los precios aumentarán, ¡así que compre sus boletos más temprano.

Formularios de invitados de Prom

• ¿Llevas a un invitado o a un estudiante novato al baile de Prom? Necesitará un formulario de invitado para eso. Los formularios para invitados están disponibles en la oficina principal y deben entregarse antes del 17 de abril a las 4:00 p. m.

Concurso de reciclaje de productos electrónicos Next Step

• Deje sus aparatos electrónicos viejos en el pasillo hasta el 7 de abril para ayudar a CHS a competir en una competencia de reciclaje electrónico. Esto incluye computadoras portátiles viejas, teléfonos, cargadores de teléfonos, etc.

Día de la Visibilidad Trans

• ¡La Alianza de Género y Sexualidad de Churchill está celebrando el Día de la Visibilidad Trans mañana! Ven a la escuela vistiendo los colores de la bandera Trans: rosa, azul y blanco para mostrar tu apoyo. ¡Asegúrate también de pasar por las macetas durante el almuerzo para que te pinten la cara y toma un brazalete y un prendedor con el pronombre mientras lo haces!

Voleibol intramuros de CHS

• La locura de marzo de Churchill… ¡En abril! Estaremos organizando un torneo de voleibol intramuros durante el almuerzo del 10 al 14 de abril. Las inscripciones de los equipos se llevarán a cabo esta semana durante el almuerzo en los planters. Premios para el equipo ganador.

Educación del conductor de verano

• La inscripción está abierta para la sesión de verano del Oregon Driver Training Institute en Churchill. Las clases son del 16 de mayo al 20 de junio, de 4:00 pm a 7:00 pm los martes y jueves. Las becas están disponibles según la necesidad. Venga a la oficina principal para obtener un volante con todos los detalles.
