Walk & Bike to School

• Cut your carbon emissions for a day! Rachel Carson students are sponsoring International Walk and Bike to School Day tomorrow. Any staff or student who arrives to school tomorrow by bike, skateboard, walking, or carpooling wins chocolate and can enter a raffle to win gift cards and other prizes. Come to the front entry near the office to enter the raffle between 8-8:30 a.m. Together, we can make a difference!

PSAT & Bell Schedule

Remember The PSAT is coming to Churchill tomorrow.  All 10th-grade students and a few 11th-grade students will be taking the PSAT. All other students will attend their regular classes but on a special bell schedule. Make sure to check the bell schedule on the CHS website.

Here are a few reminders if you are testing tomorrow.

1. Make sure you are on time. The test starts at 8:30 and you can not enter once the test is started
2. Bring a calculator to the test with you
3. Bring number 2 pencils
4. Get a good night’s sleep tonight
5. Eat a good breakfast
6. You are allowed to bring a water bottle and snacks with you to this test
7. You are not allowed to have your phone on you at any time during the test, even breaks. If you bring it with you to school that day you will be asked to store it in a box or to the side of the room. You will not be able to access your phone during the test at any time. When the test is completed and you are released for lunch, you will then be able to access your phone.

Hey Lancers!

• Let the Churchill High School pep band help you ask your sweetheart to the Homecoming dance. For the low price of $10.00, you can hold up your sign and “propose” to your date as the Churchill Band plays “HEY BABY” at the Varsity football game on Friday. This will happen in the last 4 minutes of half-time. Tickets will be sold in the student lounge at lunch today, tomorrow, and Thursday. 

Homecoming Guest Forms

• Homecoming guest forms are available on the bulletin board in the front office. Each student may invite one guest from another high school to attend. Guest request forms are due back to the front office no later than next Monday, October 17 at 4:00 pm.

Spirit Week

Spirit Week starts next week. Let’s get that Churchill school spirit going. Here are the homecoming spirit week themes:

Homecoming tickets are available at lunch by the planters. $10 with ASB, $12 without, & $15 at the door.  Homecoming court nominations are this week only at the planters. Want a song at homecoming? Request it now at the planters as there will not be song requests at the homecoming dance.

Churchill Cheer

• Congratulations to the Churchill Cheer at Game Day Championships on Saturday, October 8th. CHS Cheer took home 2nd in the 5A Small Varsity Division.

Camine y vaya en bicicleta a la escuela

• ¡Reduzca sus emisiones de carbono por un día! Los estudiantes de Rachel Carson patrocinarán el Día Internacional de Caminar y Ir en Bicicleta a la Escuela mañana. Cualquier miembro del personal o estudiante que llegue a la escuela mañana en bicicleta, patineta, caminando o compartiendo un automóvil gana chocolate y puede participar en una rifa para ganar tarjetas de regalo y otros premios. PSAT & Bell Schedule

Recuerde El PSAT llegará a Churchill mañana.  Estudiantes de 11° grado tomarán el PSAT. Todos los demás estudiantes asistirán a sus clases regulares pero en un horario de campana especial. Asegúrese de consultar el horario de clases en el sitio web de CHS.
