Today, you will be excused from 2nd period at 11:15 AM to get lunch in the cafeteria. Please report to the front of the auditorium at 11:45 for exam check-in. Remember, you must have a photo ID, such as a driver’s license or permit, passport, or CHS Student ID. You will be assigned a testing room at check-in.

PRIDE with Popcorn

Celebrate your PRIDE with Popcorn! Save your PRIDE cards and at the end of the day each Thursday in May, go to the gym and trade your PRIDE card for a bag of popcorn! These cards will be added into the FRIDAY drawings. New PRIDE prizes will be added to the display case in the Commons, so keep demonstrating Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Excellence for a chance to be recognized.

Urinetown the Musical

CHS Thespians and West End Performing Arts' spring musical, Urinetown, opens this Thursday, May 7, at 7:00 PM in the CHS Auditorium. What would you do in a world where you had to pay a company every time you use a bathroom? This hilarious dark satire follows Bobby Strong as he leads a rebellion against the Urine Good Company and its CEO, Caldwell B Cladwell. Will the rebellion succeed? Will the people pee for free?

Additional showings on May 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16, all at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $7 for students and $15 for general admission. They can be purchased from any Urinetown cast, crew, or pit member, or at the door. You will not want to miss this phenomenal production!

Tomorrow- Dystopia Day (Everyone LOVES dystopian fiction. Dress like you're in your favorite dystopian novel, movie, video game, TV show, etc.
Thursday - Opening Night Drip (Come dressed in your best...red carpet style to celebrate opening night!
Friday - Thespian Colors (Dress in BLUE and GOLD to celebrate all things performing arts!)

Atención estudiantes de AP Gobierno y Política de los EE. UU.

Hoy, se les permitirá salir de su segunda clase a las 11:15 a.m. para almorzar en la cafetería. Por favor, preséntense frente al auditorio a las 11:45 a.m. para el registro del examen. Orgullo con palomitas de maíz

¡Celebra tu orgullo con palomitas de maíz! Guarda tus tarjetas PRIDE y, al final del día cada jueves de mayo, ve al gimnasio y cambia tu tarjeta por una bolsa de palomitas. Estas tarjetas se incluirán en los sorteos de los VIERNES. Se añadirán nuevos premios PRIDE a la vitrina en el área de los Commons, así que sigue demostrando Perseverancia, Respeto, Integridad, Determinación y Excelencia para tener la oportunidad de ser reconocido. ¡Con PALOMITAS!

Urinetown el musical

Los actores de CHS y West End Performing Arts presentan el musical de primavera, Urinetown, que se estrena este jueves, 7 de mayo, a las 7:00 p.m. en el auditorio de CHS. ¿Qué harías en un mundo donde tuvieras que pagarle a una empresa cada vez que usas el baño? Esta divertidísima sátira oscura sigue a Bobby Strong mientras lidera una rebelión contra la empresa Urine Good Company y su director ejecutivo, Caldwell B. Cladwell. ¿Tendrá éxito la rebelión? ¿Podrá la gente ir al baño gratis?

Mañana: Día de distopía (A todo el mundo le ENCANTA la ficción distópica. Vístete como si estuvieras en tu novela, película, videojuego o serie de televisión distópica favorita).
Jueves: Gala de estreno (¡Ven vestido con tus mejores galas... al estilo de la alfombra roja para celebrar la noche de estreno!).
Viernes: Colores del teatro (¡Vístete de AZUL y DORADO para celebrar todo lo relacionado con las artes escénicas!).
