Walk & Bike to School

Cut your carbon emissions for a day! Rachel Carson students are sponsoring International Walk and Bike to School Day on Wednesday.  Any staff or student who arrives to school by bike, skateboard, walking, or carpooling on Wednesday wins chocolate and can enter a raffle to win gift cards and other prizes.  Come to the front entry near the office to enter the raffle between 8- 8:30 a.m. Together, we can make a difference!

Homecoming Guest Forms

Homecoming guest forms are available on the bulletin board in the front office. Each student may invite one guest from another high school to attend. Guest request forms are due back to the front office no later than next Monday, October 17 at 4:00 pm.

PSAT

Remember – The PSAT is coming to Churchill this week! Wednesday, all 10th-grade students and a few 11th-grade students will be taking the PSAT.  We handed out several study guides for the PSAT last week. Great job to those of you who picked them up! If you would still like one, they are in the college and career center near the counselors’ offices.  Today we will post your testing location by your advisory teacher. They will be posted in several locations around the school, so look for them so that you know where to go Wednesday morning. Finally, you are not allowed to have your phone on you during the test. If you bring it with you to school that day you will be asked to store it in a box or to the side of the room. You will not be able to access your phone during the test at any time. When the test is completed and you are released for lunch, you will then be able to access your phone.
