Class Schedules

Counselors are continuing to correct your class schedules. Please check your StudentVue today and Monday to be certain you are attending the classes on your schedule.

Senior Photos

Senior photo submissions for the yearbook are due a week from today. Guidelines are listed on the CHS website under the yearbook section. Email your portrait to Mr. Squires at squires_d@4j.lane.edu and make sure your name is included in the email. If you don’t submit a portrait, we will use your school photo from Lifetouch. Mr. Squires can also help you schedule a portrait session with a yearbook student.

LEAP contracts

Seniors, your LEAP contracts were due last week. Please turn them in to your counselor or Mary Beth in the School-to-Career office in the STEM building. Contracts are available online, in the counseling hall in the bright yellow folder on the bulletin board, and outside the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.

Driver’s Ed

Registration for Driver’s Ed is now open. Classes are held from January 3rd to February 23rd, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:00–6:00 pm. You must have a valid permit prior to registration as well as a minimum of 15 hours of driving practice before the first behind-the-wheel lesson. The cost is $475 for students 15-17 years old and $685 for students over 18. Financial aid is available. Sign up at oregondrivertraining.com.

Lancer Pageant

Seniors! Are you interested in being a Lancer pageant contestant? Join us for an info meeting at lunch on Tuesday the 13th or Wednesday the 14th, in F39. Attendance is mandatory to apply.

Holiday Cheer Drive

Students are working together to provide winter food boxes and gifts for families in need at Churchill. We would appreciate donations of non-perishable foods or grocery or visa gift cards for food boxes as well as empty cans and bottles to raise funds to purchase gifts. Please bring your donations to the front office or Mrs. Henderson’s classroom, J9, by the end of the day.
