Today: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; The Divergence and Disability Alliance meets at lunch in F37; APISU meets at lunch in F55; Art Club meets at lunch in B1; OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books) meets at lunch in the library.

Tomorrow: FSU meets in the auditorium at lunch; WISE meets at lunch in the STEM conference room.

Pearl Harbor Day

Today, our flags are at half-staff in honor of those American patriots who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor. Governor Kotek issued this statement: “Eighty-two years have passed since over 2,400 service members and civilians were killed during the tragic attack on Pearl Harbor. A loss of life of this scale has ripple effects for generations to come that compel solemn contemplation on this day. May we remember, honor, and learn from their sacrifice.”

CHS Holiday Cheer Drive

Churchill Holiday Cheer Drive has begun and there are lots of ways you can participate to help our CHS families this holiday season.  Listen to the following to see how you can help!

• The Student vs Staff basketball game is on! Come cheer on your favorite team this Saturday at 7 pm in the Lancer Dome.
• Food Drive happening now! Please bring donations to your first-period teacher. The top 3 classes with the most donations will earn a class prize!
• Bring in your empty can and bottle donations to J9.

Sports

Tomorrow: JV and Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Ridgeview at Ridgeview at 5:00 and 6:30, excused at 12:30; Swimming vs. North Eugene at River Road Pool at 4:15, excused at 2:00.

Saturday: Wrestling Central Linn Tournament at Central Linn at 10:00.
