Faiza Mohammed al-Kharafi taught and became department chair of Kuwait University’s Department of Chemistry. In 1933 she became President of Kuwait University and the first woman to lead a major university in the Middle east. Her work consisted of various technological systems and she was Vice-President of the World Academy of Sciences.

All students who are participating in school sports are required by OSAA to be enrolled in and passing 2.0 credits for both the trimester before your sport AND the trimester during your sport. This affects athletes for all spring sports — AND next year’s fall sports. If you are not scheduled for 2.0 credits during both of those trimesters, use the Schedule Correction form to add enough classes for you to meet this participation requirement.
